ABOUT
CUSTOM NIKE SHOE
This is a custom Nike sneaker based on their Air Max 90 sihlouette. The original sneaker was found at
a secondhand store, and then deconstructed to reveal the interesting layers below the intended finished
product. This sneaker features a unique lacing system, with laces running around the back of the shoe in order
to create a more practical and effective way of fastening. The name Jawbreaker was inspired by the color scheme
as well as the laces resembling teeth. Jawbreaker is intended to be a design for Nike that conforms to their current
trend of collaborations with other streetwear brands.
MATERIALS: Rubber sole, red suede, white leather, and exposed foam upper, nylon laces, clear vinyl, and leather tongue.
