SHOELACES WITH A MUSICAL TWIST
A project by Axel Strynar and Oliver Parsons
Shoegazers is a unique take on shoelace packaging that combines fashion and music. Shoegazers
is meant to shed light on shoelaces, a small detail of fashion, and is inspired by the psychadelic, washed
out alternative rock genre known as Shoegaze. The branding is inspired by the explosive retro colors of
Shoegaze’s emergence in the early 90s, and the vacuum formed tray invokes the shape of a record player.
The package also comes with a 10” record that sits on top of the shoelaces, equipped with a custom curated
playlist to fit the vibe of the colors in the pack.
